5 Tons of Rhythm is a hot jazz and western swing band from Woodland, California. They play a wide range of songs from the 1920s through the 1960s—standards, obscure numbers, and even some originals. The band typically features two guitars, pedal steel, double bass and vocals, but can also perform as a duo, trio, or as a larger band with drums and horns. They’re currently booking public and private events throughout the Sacramento Central Valley.
